Cedenco Foods New Zealand was established in Gisborne, New Zealand in 1986 to manufacture safe quality fruit and vegetable ingredients from locally grown produce.
Located on the East Coast of the North Island; high sunshine hours, fertile alluvial soils and a moderate climate make this region famous for its fresh fruit and vegetables.
With 80 permanent and 400 seasonal staff, we play an integral role in our local community and economy.
Tairawhiti – the indigenous Maori name for the area – means “the coast (Tai) where the new sun (ra) shines (whiti).”
Gisborne is the first city in the world to meet the new day; this is where good food begins.
